1. OVERVIEW

EkaTools.com is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it and how we protect it. Our core principle: we collect as little data as possible and never sell it.

2. FILES & DOCUMENTS YOU UPLOAD

When you use AI tools such as the P&ID Reader or SOP Generator:

  • ✅ Files are converted to base64 and sent directly to the AI API for processing
  • ✅ Files are never saved to our servers
  • ✅ Files are deleted immediately after processing
  • ✅ We do not log file contents or filenames
  • ⚠️ AI processing is handled by Anthropic's Claude API — subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy
3. CALCULATOR TOOLS (NON-AI)

All calculator tools (Pipe Volume, Vessel Volume, Control Valve Cv, Pump Power, Pipe Flow) run entirely in your browser. No data is sent to our servers. Your inputs and results remain on your device only.

4. ANALYTICS

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how tools are used. This collects anonymised data including pages visited, time on site and general location (country level). IP addresses are anonymised. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

5. COOKIES

We use only essential cookies required for the site to function, plus Google Analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies beyond analytics. Calculator results saved locally use your browser's localStorage only — this data stays on your device.

6. CONTACT FORM

When you use the contact form, your message is sent directly via your email client. We do not process or store form data on our servers. The email you send is handled by your own email provider.
